Maurice Suckling has helped develop over forty video games since the late 1990s, writing for a diverse range of titles, including Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Killing Floor 2, and Civilization VI. His other publications include the collection of short stories Photocopies of Heaven (Elastic Press, 2006), the novel Life With A Porn Queen (Ink Monkey Books, 2013), and the text book Video Game Writing from Macro to Micro (Mercury Learning, 2016, second edition). He has also been BAFTA nominated for co-writing the BBC TV series Alphablocks. He is currently Professor of Practice leading the game writing concentration at RPI in Upstate New York.
